Marcela's profound connection with Reiki began in 2003 when she was unfamiliar with holistic medicine and the concept of energy healing. During her days as a server in a Boston restaurant, she suddenly fell ill with severe stomach pain and nausea. A caring co-worker, a Reiki practitioner, noticed her distress and offered to help. With skepticism, Marcela agreed, leading her to an eye-opening experience that forever changed her life.
In that quiet corner of the restaurant, Marcela closed her eyes and allowed her friend's healing hands to work their magic. Astonishingly, she felt a powerful force drawing the pain away from her stomach, leaving her pain-free and serene. The experience left her in awe, sparking her interest in learning more about Reiki.
From Seeker to Healer:
Marcela's journey as a healer took root from that transformative moment. Eager to explore further, she delved into Reiki by taking her Reiki First Degree class in 2004. As she received the attunement, a profound knowing surfaced, foretelling that she would become a Reiki Master one day.
Marcela diligently practiced Reiki on herself and others, honing her skills and intuition as a healer. In 2005, she became a Second Degree Practitioner and then achieved the esteemed title of Reiki Master in 2008.
